New York Fashion Week Fall 2016 Trends

New York Fashion Week is the greatest week of the year! Although I didn’t get to go, I still love looking at all the runway looks and trends. This year, all of the designer’s showed off some of their most stylish collections ever! Here’s a short recap of the week and how you can be up to date with this season’s hottest trends!
- Muted orange. Obviously fall colors are always a huge “yes” during the season, but the orange shade above is a big one this fall!
- Mismatch/patched jeans. In a lot of the runway shows this year, designers featured jeans that had patches from other shades and materials of jeans. It might sound odd, but they actually turned out super stylish and unique!
- Formal Boho/festival wear. The Boho style has been around for a while, but it’s usually more casual, festival wear. This season, there’s more of an emphasize on formal Boho wear, such as flowy dresses, skirts, and blouses.
- Sequins and ruffles. You may be thinking… what? I don’t mean huge ruffled dresses decked out in sparkly sequins. What I do mean are simple, detailed looks with a little sparkle!
