Sunscreen is an essential product needed on any summer day and there lots of questions that come along with it! Does it really work? Do I have to reapply? Do I need a higher SPF? Here are a few common myths that can either be trusted or busted!
Myth #1: It’s cloudy today so I don’t have to wear sunscreen. FALSE! The sun is extremely powerful, and, although you can’t see it, its rays can sneak up on you. Apply sunscreen no matter what the weather!
Myth #2: My makeup has SPF so I’m covered. FALSE! Although your makeup may have SPF, it doesn’t cover your whole face. I suggest buying a face sunscreen or a moisturizer with SPF and applying it before your makeup for extra coverage.
Myth #3: I already applied my sunscreen for the day, so I don’t have to reapply. FALSE! Sunscreen actually needs to be reapplied every 2 to 4 hours. If you’re swimming or getting in water, it needs to be reapplied even more often than that.
Myth #4: Baby sunscreen isn’t only for babies. TRUE! Baby sunscreen is actually great for those with sensitive skin, especially on the face! If you are one with sensitive skin and are interested in buying some, click here: http://tiny.cc/CoppertoneSunscreen.
