DIY Picture Letter Collage

If you can’t tell from my Instagram, I love taking pictures! It’s such a great way to store memories.  My room is covered in pictures, so finding new places to set or hang them is becoming a struggle.  Recently I stumbled upon an awesome DIY.  A large picture letter is a great way to decorate your room with your initial and cover it in pictures!  Check out how to make your own picture letter!

What you’ll need:

• Large wooden letter (you can get this at any craft store)


• Matte Modge Podge


• 4×6 photos (make sure to print more than you need)


• Foam paint brushes


• Scissors

Start by arranging the photos on the letter the way you like them. Understand that most of the photos will have to be trimmed, so try positioning the photos so that no one gets cut out of the picture.  Once the photos are laid down, brush Modge Podge on the back of each photo and glue them to the letters surface.  Once all the photos are glued down, begin trimming around the letter so that the photos match the edge of the letter.  Now that the photos are in the shape of the letter, lightly brush Modge Podge back on top of the photos.  Although it will look white, don’t panic, it will dry clear and give it a matte finish!

Now your photo is ready to be hung up! I hope you all enjoy this DIY!
