We Don"t Know God"s Plans, But We Can Know HIM

Life isn’t easy. Then again, nothing that is worth it is easy. Life is hard work. It doesn’t go as planned, which I am finding painfully true. Crises happen, things/people are taken away, nothing is predictable in this world. But there is one thing in life that you can always count on, and can know without a shadow of a doubt will always be there. That is Jesus.

Many times we turn to God when times are hard and when we need help, and that is great, but we need to turn to Him in the good times, too. It is so important to have a strong foundation in your Faith, and to be seeking God all the time. This is because when crises hit, when the times get tough, you need to be able to fall back on that Faith to get you through those times. You need to have a strong relationship with God and understand who He is. You need to remember that He is good and that He knows everything that is happening and that WILL happen in your life. Nothing is a surprise to Him! I saw a quote the other day that totally summed this thought up. It said “I don’t know what He’s doing, but I know who He is.” This, to me, says that I don’t know the plan for my life, but He does, and I know God and that He is in control and has my life in His hands, and that is enough for me. What a comfort to know that we do not have to worry about our future because He has it all under control!

It is so important to be constantly growing in your Faith and seeking God, so when hard times hit you can be confident in His plans for you and that He is not giving you anything that you cannot handle.
