Don’t you wish you had an acne fairy godmother that could “bibbity bobbity boo” your pimples away? Well, I’m no fairy godmother, but I am pretty Beautylicious, so I think that that should count for something! I have some tips on how to help make a real difference in your skin. These little pieces of advice can make a HUGE difference!
1. Gently clean and moisturize. Limit your shower time and use warm water rather than hot! Hot water can dry out your skin. Avoid strong soaps that strip your skin of it’s natural oils. When you are drying your face, pat it dry, don’t rub it! Also, never forget to moisturize.
2. Eat a healthy diet. Believe it or not, what you eat can impact your skin! Be sure to eat fruits, veggies, whole grains, and lean proteins!
4. Watch your makeup usage! Choose powder cosmetics over heavy cream products. Always remove your makeup before you go to bed, and be sure to throw away your old makeup and clean your brushes often! 3. Watch what touches your face. Keep your hair clean and off your face. Don’t rest your hands or objects like cell phones on your face because you are rubbing bacteria all over it! Yuck!
Like I said, I’m no super acne genius, but these tips really DO work! Give them a try!
XOXO, Chels
