DIY: Make Your Own Nail Polish!

             Do you ever walk through the nail polish aisle and fall in love with a certain color?  Unfortunately some nail polishes can range up to $9, which is crazy!  Luckily, it’s easy to make your own nail polish and have any color you could image; it’s cheap too!  Follow my simple steps to getting your perfect polish color.

            All you need is a clear nail polish, which you can find anywhere for really cheap, your favorite color eye shadow, a funnel, and a tooth pick.  Start by breaking apart the eye shadow and crushing it until it becomes a fine powder.  Using the funnel, add the color to the nail polish bottle.  If you don’t have a funnel, you can roll a piece of paper up to make a small tube.  Once the eye shadow is added to the clear polish, start stirring the mixture with a tooth pick.  It’s done!  You’ve officially made your own nail polish!

            Experiment with colors by mixing eye shadows and creating unique nail polishes.  It’s quick, easy, and cheap!  Make your own one-of-a-kind nail polish with these simple steps!
