Self Esteem: The Secret to Being Confident

            Hey girls!

            In the November issue of Teen Vogue, Demi Lovato talks about how she is stronger than ever and how she couldn’t be happier with the skin she’s in.  This is a perfect example of someone we should look up to, especially in our teen years.  Being comfortable and confident in your own skin is one of the very secrets of finding the person you want to be!

            Self-esteem is hard to keep up at the age we’re at, and going to school doesn’t help.  There’s always someone that has something negative to say about you whether they’re judging your clothes, personality, friends, etc.  Feeling right in your own skin is the first step to ignoring negativity from others.  Don’t be a people pleaser!  You can’t make everyone happy so don’t try so hard.  God made you in His image, so you should be overjoyed with the skin you’re in!
