DIY Volumizing Shampoo

Thick, big, beautiful hair is every girls dream!  Between teasing, hairspray, and blowouts, a girl will do anything to achieve their perfect, voluminous hair!  Shampoo comes in all different varieties including volumizing shampoo.  While some of these products work, many will leave your hair looking and feeling the same as any normal shampoo would.  Check out this DIY to creating your own volumizing shampoo!

What you’ll need:

• 6 tbsp. coarse sea salt


• 150ml of your favorite shampoo


• 1.5 tbsp. lemon or lime juice


• 1 tbsp. coconut oil

Begin by heating the coconut oil over a heat source like a candle or in the microwave.  Next, in a bowl, mix together the melted coconut oil and sea salt.  Once that combination is mixed together, add the lemon or lime juice and stir again.  Now that your volumizing mixture is created, add it to your favorite shampoo.  In a few simple steps you’ve made your own volumizing shampoo!
