Hey insiders!
As autumn rolls in, so does cold, windy weather. This type of weather can irritate and dry out your skin. Face masks and scrubs will be much needed, but also over-priced and very expensive. Here are a couple DIY recipes that you can make at home and avoid breaking the bank!
Pumpkin Face Mask. For this recipe, you’re only going to need three ingredients: 2 teaspoons of pureed pumpkins (or canned), 1 teaspoon of organic Greek yogurt (milk can be substituted), and a half teaspoon of organic honey. These products will help soothe and exfoliate your skin with the vitamins they contain. To start off, take all of your ingredients and mix them together in a bowl. Then apply the mixture to dampened skin and leave it on for 10 minutes. Then rinse off with a warm washcloth. You can repeat this process up to once a week!
Cinnamon Face Mask. Once again, this recipe only includes three ingredients: 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1 teaspoon of nutmeg. Mix them all together and spread it evenly on your face. Leave on for up to an hour. It’s a long time but the results are worth it! Rinse off with warm water and repeat 2-3 times a week.
Enjoy!
