Christmas Hair: Pullthrough Braid

Christmas is just around the corner, and with Christmas comes Christmas parties! With Christmas parties comes Christmas outfits, and with Christmas outfits comes Christmas hair! So, without further ado, here is a fun, pretty hair style for your Christmas party needs: the pull-through braid. PS. This style works best on thick, long hair.
- Pull your hair into a high ponytail and secure it with an elastic. Split your hair into 3 groups once it is in the ponytail. Wrap one of the sections (a small section) around the ponytail to hide it.
- Split the section of hair underneath your ponytail in half and wrap it around to the front. Secure it with an elastic. It should look like you have a little ponytail in front of your big one. See the picture for clarification.
- Keeping your spacing even, continue splitting the underside hair in half and wrapping it around to the front, then securing it. Keep doing this until you have reached the length that you want your braid to be. Secure all the loose ends with an elastic.
- Now to my favorite part! Pull apart the sections of the “braid” to make it fuller and bigger.
I love this look because it is unique and looks so interesting from the back. If you are someone who prefers wearing their hair up or if you just want to switch things up, this hair style is great for you!
XOXO, Chels
