Easter is a wonderful time to whip up some tasty treats in the kitchen! With all the festivities going on, why not bring the perfect dessert to your Easter occasion. I’ve got a few creative and delicious treats that everyone will love. Plus, they’re easy to make!
Who doesn’t love chocolate covered strawberries?! I can’t get enough of them! A twist on the classic chocolate covered strawberry is to turn them into carrots! Start by melting down white chocolate, using a small dab of vegetable oil, and adding orange food coloring to it. Fully dip each strawberry in the orange chocolate so only the stem shows. Finish them off by drizzling the extra chocolate you have over the strawberries with a spoon. They’ll look exactly like little carrots! They’re the perfect grab and go dessert.
Another one of my favorite Easter desserts are bunny tails. All you need is an 8-ounce package of cream cheese, 4-5 cups of powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon of almond extract, and a bag of shredded coconut. Begin by softening the cream cheese and beating it until it is fluffy. Slowly add the powdered sugar in, while mixing, until it becomes dough. Once the dough becomes thick, roll it into 1-inch balls, and roll them into the coconut. These can be served room temperature or chilled. Enjoy!
