Hi Ladies,
Beauty masks are one of my favorite beauty remedies. If you haven’t already, it’s easy to fall in love with a certain mask. I was even able to get rid of my acne thanks to the Michael Todd Kaolin Clay Mask. Whether you have dry or oily skin, acne prone or clear skin, there’s a mask out there for everyone. Here’s all you need to know about one of the beauty world’s favorite product.
Masks work wonders! If you have dry or sensitive skin, a hydrating mask is perfect for your skin type! You don’t want a mask with a harsh texture that could act as a scrub, because that will only make your skin drier. A hydrating mask will smooth out your skins top layer and add moisture to even the driest skin. It will also leave your skin brighter, getting rid of redness. The purpose of a hydrating mask is to replenish the natural oils in your skin.
If you have oily or combination skin, you’ll want to stay clear from a hydrating mask. Instead, go for an exfoliating or clay mask. The minerals in this type of mask will leave your skin feeling soft, but dry it out a little to get rid of the oil. This type of “drying out” is okay for your skin and is an important step in getting rid of excess oil.
Be sure to incorporate facial masks into your weekly beauty routine. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
Love,
Chelsea
