Keeping a prayer journal can do wonders for your walk with God. How? Let me tell you!

Keeps your mind on task: I don’t know about you, but sometimes when I am praying my mind seems to wander off and get on another subject.  By writing your prayers down you are keeping your mind on task and it will keep you from daydreaming! Writing out prayers might take a little longer than thinking them, but at least the time is actually spent in prayer.

Allows you to keep track of your prayers: By keeping a journal, you can look back and see who you were praying for, what you were praying for, and how God has answered your prayers! I think it is so cool to look back on the prayers I said in the past and see how God has answered them.

Makes you closer to God: Communication is vital in any relationship, and it is even more important in your relationship to God. The more praying you do to him, the closer you will be. Lay all of your worries, burdens, and anything else that is heavy on your heart, on Him. God loves to listen to you!

Keeping a prayer journal will transform your walk with Christ!
