Clever Ways to Sneak Spinach into Your Diet

We all know that spinach is one of the healthiest foods out there! This leafy green is important for the health of our hair, skin, and bones; and provides our body with a handful of vitamins and minerals. Unfortunately not everyone likes spinach, but since it is mild in taste, adding it to some of your favorite dishes is an easy way to sneak it in. If you use it in the right ways, you won’t even know you’re eating it!
- When making a smoothie, add a handful of spinach leaves to your blender. Although your smoothie will come out green, you won’t even be able to taste the spinach!
- Love deli wraps or Mexican burritos? Try making them with a spinach wrap instead of a flour tortilla.
- Tear up spinach leaves and add them to your normal house salad. This way, you will notice the crunchiness of the lettuce, not the spinach.
- If you’re going out to eat and always order the cheese queso for an appetizer, try spinach and artichoke dip instead. Although it is not particularly healthy, it still has a few health benefits despite all the creamy cheese.
- Finely dice up spinach and add it to your next omelet or pasta dish. The sauces and extra toppings will cover up the spinach taste. Also, if you dice the spinach up enough, you won’t even notice when you’re eating it and when you’re not.
It’s important for your body to get the nutrients it needs! Try incorporating spinach into your daily diet whenever you can!
