Did you know that the foods you eat can support your skin’s defenses against infection? The foods you eat give your skin the power it needs to help battle acne-causing bacteria! So, just like nutritious foods fuel your body and help fight infection, they also help your skin do the same! Here is a guide to the best and worst foods for your skin!
Good:
- Fatty acids like salmon or almonds
- Whole grains
- Vitamin B6, which can be found in avocados and walnuts
- Fruits!
Bad:
- Caffine!!
- Sugar, like candy soda and syrups
- Processed foods like hot dogs or canned soup
- Greasy foods like chips and fast food
