In the winter time it is important to keep up with a healthy diet because we don’t get as much exercise in the winter months. This can be because we don’t have access to a gym or because it is too cold to exercise outdoors. Here is a healthy snack that is quick and easy to make and also tastes amazing. The taste reminds me of ice cream!
Ingredients:
- 1 small cluster of bananas
- Any flavor of Greek yogurt
- Place parchment paper on a plate or a cookie sheet. Slice up your bananas and then dry off the slices. You can do this and then freeze your slices to use at another time, too, if you want. Once you have dried off the slices, carefully dip the bananas in the yogurt. Use a fork to roll and gently lift the chunks of banana out of the yogurt. Then, place the chunks onto the parchment paper and place in the freezer overnight. Once they are frozen remove the bananas and place them into a Ziploc bag for storage.
One thing I really love about this snack is that it combines my favorite fruit, bananas, and yummy protein-packed Greek yogurt! I like to eat these yummy treats after dinner as my dessert. They are much better for you than ice cream or other sweet sugary treats, but taste just as good!
XOXO, Chels
