Are you looking for a cheap, creative gift your all of your girls this Christmas? Or, are you throwing a Christmas party and need party favors for the female guests? Look no further, I have the perfect peperminty solution!
Ingredients:
- ½ cup coconut oil
- 1½ – 2 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon peppermint extract
- 1 drop green food coloring
Here is what you do to make this pepperminty scrub:
- Place the coconut oil in a bowl and microwave it for 15-25 seconds.
- Add 1 ½ cups sugar and the peppermint extract to the oil. Then add the food coloring. Mix the ingredients until they are well combined and the food coloring is evenly mixed. If the mixture is too liquidy, add more sugar.
- Spoon the scrub into air-tight containers such as baby food jars or mason jars and decorate with Christmas-y ribbon!
Personally, I would love getting this as a gift or as a party favor! Sugar scrubs are great for exfoliating the skin and ridding it of dead skin. The peppermint smell is an added bonus. It will make you smell and feel super refreshed!
XOXO, Chels
