How to Fix Broken Lipstick

Lipstick can turn any outfit from frumpy to fabulous. I always feel polished and ready to go when I am wearing my favorite shade! If you are a lipstick lover like me, then you know the tragic situation when your lipstick breaks. How are you supposed to get the perfect pout if the stick is broken in half!? Instead of going and buying a brand new stick, fix the other one so it is just like new. Here is how. 

 

1. If the lipstick is not already broken off of the base, break it off. 

2. Warm up the base with a hair dryer for about 5 seconds. 

3. Attach the broken piece back to the base and stick it in the fridge for a few hours to firm it back up. 

 

Now it may not be as pretty as it was when you first bought it, but it goes on the same I promise! This quick fix should keep your lipstick together until you are ready to upgrade. 

 

Hopefully this easy fix works for you the next time your lipstick decides to do a High School Musical and "break free"! ;)
