Laying in a warm bath after a long day is such a great way to unwind and relax.  With my busy life, a long bath is much needed every once in a while.  I love taking time for myself and relaxing!  Whenever I have a good amount of time before bed, a detox bath is one of my favorite things to do.  Chelsea Crockett- detox bathDetox baths clean out your pores by eliminating toxins and soaking in minerals.  I will teach you how to create a soothing detox bath to get your body back in shape!

Make sure you set aside 40 minutes to perform a detox bath properly.  Start with filling up your bathtub with sizzling hot water.  You want to sweat!  Add two cups of Epsom salt to the water.  It’s really cheap, about $2.00 at your local grocery store!  Next, add about 1 ½ cups of baking soda to the water.  This mixture will clean out your pores.  The next two ingredients are optional.  Small amounts of ground ginger can be added to the bath to increase sweating, which causes toxins to be released.  Be careful though, ginger may turn your skin red for a little while!  Aromatherapy oils can also be added for a sweet scent, leaving you and your body relaxed and smelling wonderful.  Swish all the ingredients together and enjoy!  You will get really hot, but you’ll feel great after!

Drink lots of water and head to bed when you finish with your bath.  You’ll wake up feeling amazing, trust me!

Enjoy!
