Let Go and Let God

What does it mean to “Let go and let God”?
When I hear this phrase, one Bible verse immediately comes to mind. It is Matthew 6:34, which says “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Another is Jeremiah 29:11. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” These two verses encompass what it means to “let go and let God.” They show us that we can let go of our worries and stresses because God knows the plans He has for your future, and they are plans to give you success and prosperity! How great is it to know that we have no need to worry about our future, because God has it all under control? Leave the stress to Him. Give your worries to Him. Cast your cares and anxiety on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7)! Sometimes I get caught up in my worries and stresses and start to feel overwhelmed and bogged down. Then I remember that I need to let go of all of that and give it to God, because His plans are greater than mine. He’s got this!
I hope you can find comfort in this just like I can.
XOXO, Chels
