Stretch, It’s Good For The Body!

Whether it’s before or after a workout, randomly throughout the day, or before you go to sleep, a good full body stretch is a great way to relax the body and the mind. It doesn’t matter if you are athletic or not…stretch because it’s good for you!
If you’re an athlete, stretching regularly will increase flexibility! This can make it easier to run by increasing your range of motion and can keep you from getting injured when playing a sport or weight lifting. When you stretch, blood and nutrients get to the muscles quicker, which will reduce muscle soreness. It also improves posture, which can help burn calories and improve your overall appearance!
Not only does stretching help you out physically, but mentally as well! By taking 15 minutes a day to stretch, you will be more relaxed and less stressed. Stretching releases tension from the body and allows it to go into a state of relaxation.
Next time you’ve got time to kill, do the body some good and stretch!
