If you have seen the show “Sex in the City” or “Gossip Girl”, you know that shoes are a vital part of any wardrobe. Somehow, we girls always find excuses to buy a new pair of shoes. The only issue? Closets can only hold so many pairs of shoes and wallets can only pay for so many! There are a few pairs of shoes that every girl should own. They are considered “staples” to your wardrobe, and they don’t go in and out with trends. These pairs are foolproof, if you have them you will always have the perfect pair of shoes for every outfit.

Nude flats: These shoes are an easy solution to feeling put together and polished while on the go. They are the perfect mixture of ladylike and casual, which means that you can wear them with anything from sweet sundresses to cute cutoffs.

Casual Keds: Boy do I love me a pair of white Keds. They are the world’s most versatile shoe!

Go-with-everything ankle boots: Pick a pair of neutral booties that are totally adorable as well as walkable. They will keep you looking cute all through the fall and winter months!

Summer wedges: When spring and summer show their face, you want to have a great pair of wedges on hand. These shoes pair well with sassy sundresses as well as casual shorts and denim, and they are easy to walk in!

Classic pumps: Your pair of go-to pumps will never let you down. From homecoming to nights out with friends to fancy dinners, these shoes won’t let you down! A great pair of nude or black heels are a must.

Everyday sandals: If you consider flip flops your “everyday” sandals, we need to change that!! Since flat strappy sandals are what we tend to gravitate towards during the summer months, pick out a pair that is neutral and goes with everything!

Riding boots: Every girl needs a good pair of brown riding boots. End of discussion. They are as chic as they are practical!
