Whether you’ve got facial scars as the result of bad acne, an injury, or a surgery, having a scar on your face can be very discouraging.  While some can easily be covered with makeup, others are nearly impossible.  Believe it or not, there is a way to reduce the appearance of scars naturally with your own at-home recipe!  It’s time to banish scarring once and for all!Chelsea Crockett- DIY scar remover

What you’ll need:

  • ½ teaspoon of baking soda

  • ½ teaspoon of purified water

  • Coconut oil

Create a paste by mixing together the baking soda and water.  Apply to the scarred area for 5 minutes before rinsing off with warm water.  Use your hands to rinse off the mixture instead of using a towel.  You’ll want to be as gentle as possible!  Last, apply coconut oil to the area to moisturize and reduce darkening! Hint: try this before bed, so the coconut oil has enough time to sit.  Repeat this process once a day until the scarring has reduced!

XOXO,

Chelsea
