Over the cold weather months, I don’t give my feet very much attention. But, in spring and summer, I break them out of hiding! Because they have been hibernating for quite a few months, my feet are not in the best shape. They could use a little TLC. Here is a recipe for a rejuvenating foot scrub that will get your piggies in pristine shape!
Ingredients:
- Epsom salt
- Baking soda
- Lime
- Peppermint
Combine 2 cups of Epsom salts, which soften up rough skin and eliminate smells, with ½ cup baking soda, which is great for exfoliating and eliminating odors as well. Then, add in 3-4 drops of lime essential oil, which is used to energize and freshen, and 3-4 drops of peppermint essential oil, which is an uplifting and fresh scent. Stir the mixture with a spoon and mix thoroughly. Store your mixture in a jar until you are ready to prep your feet for summer!
This fresh scrub screams summer!
XOXO, Chels
