DIY Gel Manicure

Going to get your nails done is always a great time! Getting a gel manicure is wonderful, because it lasts for about 2 weeks. You get to sit back, relax, and have someone else do all the work…it’s fun until the bill comes. The problem is that it’s SO expensive! They’re great to get every once in a while, but affording to keep them up can be costly. I recently discovered a way to give yourself a gel manicure at home with a few simple (and cheap) products! Take a look!
What you’ll need:
- Gelous Advanced Nail Gel Coat: the must-have!
- ANY nail polish
- ANY top clear coat
This requires 6 coats, but I promise it’s worth it! Also, let nails fully dry between each coat of polish. Keep each application thin and don’t apply too much polish at one time. Apply each polish in this order:
- Gelous Advanced Nail Gel Coat
- Nail Polish Color
- Gelous Advanced Nail Gel Coat
- Nail Polish Color
- Top Coat
- Gelous Advanced Nail Gel Coat
Voilà, you’re all done! Make sure you give your nails plenty of time to dry before doing anything. You’ve just created your own perfect set of gel nails!
