I often catch myself staring at nail art on Pinterest completely mesmerized. How in the world do people do their nails so perfectly?! When I do mine I feel like a kindergartener trying to color inside the lines! Today I am going to share a perfectly easy, super cute nail art technique that gives you watercolor nails! Adorable!

All you need for this technique is a Sharpie or two, a base nail color, and some rubbing alcohol. After painting your nails in the color of your choice (I would choose a pastel because spring is closeJ ), let them dry a spell. While they are drying, combine colorful Sharpie ink and rubbing alcohol in a separate bowl, then paint it onto your nails! It should look like a watercolor painting. Add glitter topcoat if you are feeling fancy.

How easy was that? This is a great, cute nail idea for Easter!

Spring time nails are so much fun! The color pallete is so cute, with all of the pastels and bright cheery colors. Nails are a simple, understated way to add a little personal flare to your springtime ensembles. Here are a few styles to sport this spring time.

1. Pretty pink: Want to keep thinks sweet and simple? Paint your nails a simple shade of light pink. It is preppy and pretty, with a little girly flare!


2. Pastel geometric: Spice things up a bit with a pastel geometric french manicure! This isn’t your ordinary french manicure, it has a little angular flare to it.


3. Paisley print: I love this pretty pattern! It reminds me of a china cup. What a classy, preppy pattern! Super cute.

If in doubt, you can always paint your nails a simple white! It makes your nails look clean and put-together.
