It is a rule of thumb to never wear white to a wedding, but what about to a bridal shower? Not many people talk about the do’s and dont’s of bridal shower attire, so that is what I am here for! Spring and summer are prime wedding season, and one of my friends is getting married this summer, so this is good to know! Usually, sweet, fun, and girly are three good adjectives to describe shower attire. If you are attending a bridal shower soon, check out this style guide to get the low-down.

1. First, floral: Floral patterns qualify as fun AND girly! I have been really into floral prints lately. They look so fresh and sweet. They even give a slight retro vibe! Here is my floral pick. 

   

2. Then comes sweet and simple: Soft colors are always a safe choice when it comes to spring and summer wear, especially bridal shower attire. This pastel halter dress encompasses the “sweet and simple” vibe perfectly! 
3. Finally, girly: What is more girly than ruffles? Nothing. I am convinced. A ruffled off-the shoulder dress is a simply adorable choice of attire. Wear with sandals or wedges for a sweet summer vibe.

I am going to let you in on a little secret. Because you are totally amazing, I am going to give you the 411 on what the hottest looks are going to be this spring!

Floral floral floral! That is right. Floral patterns are coming in hot! Whether it is on jeans or sundresses, look out for this up-and-coming trend! When you rock a pair of floral jeans, wear a plain shirt with them. You don’t want to send your outfit into pattern-overload! Pastel Jeans! I looove this trend. Pastel jeans are totally cute and can be super chic also. When you wear pastel jeans, you have so many outfit options! you can pair them with a simple white shirt, a pastel tribal patterned shirt, a totally adorable white peplum shirt, or even a cotton button-up! Throw a white or light-colored blazer on top and you are golden! Throw on some cute nude wedges or strappy sandals and grab a neutral clutch to complete the look. Like I said, there are so many outfit options!

The next trend I am in love with is the use of flowers in your hair! Adding flower clips or headbands to your look adds a sweet, springy touch to any ensemble. Looking for a way to spruce your spring outfit up? Throw a flower clip in your hair! It is the perfect way to complete any spring outfit.
