Who says you cannot wear white after Labor Day? I petition that we throw that rule out the door! Why put those perfectly good white jeans away for the fall/winter when you could rock them all year long? Beats me! Here are my favorite ways to wear white jeans in the fall.

1. With a neutral sweater: If you are looking for a casual outfit to wear to school, pair your white skinnies with a neutral colored oversized sweater. Add in a thick brown belt and some nude flats or Sperries to complete the look!
2. With a jean jacket: A dark jean jacket adds so much dimension to a simple outfit. Pair white jeans, a simple gray shirt, and a denim jacket for a simple, sweet fall look. Toss in some suede booties to complete the ensemble!
3. With gingham: Oh my goodness. I just love gingham. It is so classy and cute and vintange and just all around adorable! Tuck a gingham button up into your white jeans, or just tuck in the front and let the rest of the shirt hang loose, and layer in a thin tan belt. I would wear some white Keds sneakers with this duo!

People will forget the phrase “don’t wear white past Labor Day” when they see how cute you look in your fall white jeans ensembles!

Fall fashion is full of fabulous trends. One of those being the layered denim trend! You may think that wearing more than one denim piece in an outfit is a bit much, and in some cases that is true. But in others, you can really rock the layered look. Here are some outfit ideas to inspire your denim looks this fall!

Dark wash jeans with denim button up: This outfit is effortless. You just pull on your favorite pair of dark skinny jeans and then pull on a lighter denim button up. The light and dark shades of denim contrast nicely creating a clean, polished look. Pull on your favorite pair of tan ankle booties or white converse shoes to complete the look!

Light wash denim, light wash jacket: I love this look as well. Pair a loose fitting white shirt with light skinnies and a distressed, light denim jacket. This outfit is easy and breezy. The loose white shirt gives you some contrast between the two denim items. Pair with some white Keds or ankle booties!

Denim mini skirt with jean jacket: You might need to rock this look while it is still semi warm out so your legs don’t freeze! But, during the semi cool, semi warm fall months this outfit is totally appropriate. You can also pair a flowy, loose white shirt with a distressed jean jacket and skirt. This look is a little more girly and flirty than the two above.

Finding the perfect Easter dress can be tricky.  With the changing seasons, you never know what the weather is going to be like!  Dresses come in so many lengths, prints, and styles, so finding the right dress for your body type is essential.

For Easter, it’s important to pick light, spring colors!  Try any color in a pastel shade, all white, or a hot pink.  A floral print is also perfect for an Easter dress!  If you live in an area with cooler weather, try a maxi dress!  A maxi dress can be paired with a jean jacket or blazer making it a warmer outfit.  Pair it with sandals to add a touch of spring and you’re all set!  If you want to wear a white sun dress, but want to add a pop of color, try a hot pink blazer with neon accessories.  Neon yellow and hot pink look great together!  Throw on the dress with bright colored accessories and you’ve got the perfect Easter outfit!

Whatever dress you choose, make sure it is full of color as you break into this spring season!  Have the happiest Easter ever!

 Spring can be a confusing season, since it can be a mix between summer and winter weather.  As the cool winter air turns into the crisp spring weather, layering is an important art to master in the fashion world.  It’s an easy way to be able to break out some of your warm-weathered clothing without freezing in the cool March temperatures.  Check out my simple ways to layer in the spring.

            The #1 tip to layering is to keep the bulk to a minimum.  It’s easy to throw on an abundance of clothing, but the outcome may not be flattering.  Keep your base outfit form-fitting.  A blazer is a great way to add warmth to an outfit without making the outfit look bulky.  It can be paired with a simple dress or jeans and a tee/button-up.  The same goes for a vest.  If you want to wear one of your favorite dresses, but the weather might be too cold for it, don’t worry!  Try pairing your dress with a jean jacket and light, silk scarf.  If it’s too chilly to wear sandals, opt for a pair of flats or knee high riding boots to complete your look.  If it’s too chilly to wear your favorite spring button up, try throwing on a crewneck sweater over the shirt, pulling out the collar and rolling up the sleeves.  Make sure to wear bright colors to really capture the essence of spring!

            Layering is so important, especially during the months of crisp, cool weather.  Experiment with your clothing, and soon enough, you’ll be a layering expert!
