Baking soda: we all have it sitting in our kitchen cabinets at this very moment. This underestimated powder has so many amazing beauty uses. It can be a brightener, exfoliator, acne treatment, and anti-bacterial agent. Here are a few ways you should start using baking soda in your beauty regimen!

  • For your teeth: Baking soda is a natural bleach for your teeth. In a small bowl, mix 1 tbsp of baking soda with a bit of water and salt and use it instead of toothpaste.SCRUB

  • For your hair: Shampoos and conditioners leave a lot of build-up on your hair, and baking soda can help clean that buildup off. Mix a tsp of baking soda with a cup of water and apple cider vinegar and pour this mixture over your hair. Then rinse it out.

  • For the nails: dip a soft, wet toothbrush into baking soda and use it to scrub the dead skin around your nails.

  • For exfoliation: mix 1 tbsp of baking soda with 1 tbsp of water or apple cider vinegar and scrub your skin. This will help tighten your skin pores and prevents acne because it is a natural antibacterial.

How are YOU going to use baking soda in your beauty regimen?
