Post-Workout Skin Care Routine

Post-Workout Skin Care Routine
http://www.chelseacrockett.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/chelsea-crockett-post-workout-skin-care-routine.jpg

I love going to the gym. It helps me calm my mind and makes me feel refreshed and strong. The only downfall of visiting the gym is that I seem to break out after I go. I looked up why this was the case, and it was because I wasn’t treating my skin the way I should! After we workout, our pores are wide open which means that they are open to bacteria and makeup residue. Your skin is super vulnerable after a visit to the gym. Here are a few ways that I found to keep your skin healthy after hitting the gym or the trail.

  1. Make sure your makeup is gone before you work out. Use a makeup wipe to quickly and easily clear your skin. Do this so that your sweat can filter out of your pores freely instead of getting trapped by your makeup.

  2. Use skin products that don’t irritate. Using a harsh cleanser after you workout is not doing your skin any favors! Spray a facial toner on your skin post-workout to soothe and calm your skin.

  3. If you can’t get to a shower, use healthy ingredients to wash your face. Makeup wipes with natural cleansers like lavender are a great and handy way to quickly and easily get your skin clean of sweat and build-up after a workout.

  4. Keep your skin care kit on hand. If you workout before work or school, or you typically have to go somewhere other than home after a workout, keep your skincare essentials in a small travel bag. This is a great way to make sure that you get your skin cleansed before going anywhere, plus it will make you feel refreshed when you are on the go.

Keeping your skin clean is the key to kicking breakouts to the curb!

XOXO, Chels

4 Tips for Masking Greasy Hair

4 Tips for Masking Greasy Hair
http://www.chelseacrockett.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/FullSizeRender-4-2.jpg

Greasy hair is a struggle for us all.  They say you’re not supposed to wash your hair every day, but when you don’t, your hair becomes a greasy mess!  Especially if you have thick hair like me, you know the struggle.  If you have this problem too, here are 5 tips that will help you out!

  • Dry Shampoo. If you’ve never used dry shampoo, then get ready to be amazed! It does wonders for your hair.  Spray a little bit of this on your hair at any time of the day and it’ll give it the lift it needs.

  • Baby Powder. If you don’t have any dry shampoo lying around, baby powder almost works just as well!  I found this trick hard to believe, but it really does work!  Sprinkle a small amount of powder around your scalp to disappear any grease your hair has.  It’s a cheap and quick method to substitute for dry shampoo!

  • Hats and Headbands. As you can already guess, hats and headbands are the perfect cover-up for greasy hair.  They’re the key solution to any messy hair day, trust me!

  • Braid it. Braiding the top of your hair makes for a cute hairstyle while still doing a good job of covering up dirty hair!  You can still look good on your way to class without worrying about it!

Have any other tips you can give me?  Share your tricks with me in the comments below!

Monthly Ipsy Makeup Bags

Monthly Ipsy Makeup Bags
http://www.chelseacrockett.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Chelsea-Crockett-Ipsy-Makeup-Bag.jpg

With social media booming, there are so many new online companies coming out to promote a new way of online shopping.  I’ve written articles about similar companies, including Faithbox and FabFitFun, that require a subscription to receive monthly boxes of products and/or apparel.  Ipsy is another company that has a similar idea but has new ideas to offer to the table! 🙂

The main concept of Ipsy is to inspire girls to experience beauty focusing 100% on themselves and what they want!  Ipsy thinks that beauty and makeup should be accessible and affordable for everyone, and their vision was first created from YouTube.  Beauty gurus were making beauty their own and reinventing it to find their own unique makeup style.  Ipsy’s sole focus is on personalization and finding your beauty personality!

Ipsy is a monthly box of 5 different makeup products that is delivered right to your door!  For only $10 a month, you can try out different products to find out what you prefer and what works best for you.  All you have to do is take an in-depth beauty test so Ipsy knows which products will go best with your skin tone, eye color, hair color, and preferences.  They also ask for your familiarity with makeup and which makeup brands you would love to try out!  They then create your boxes based on your preferences, how awesome is that?  Did I mention it’s free shipping, too?!

Are you going to subscribe?  I encourage you to try it out!  Hey, it’s worth a shot right?

Tips from the Pros: How to Beat Acne Fast

Tips from the Pros: How to Beat Acne Fast
http://www.chelseacrockett.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Chelsea-Crockett-Clear-Skin-Tips.jpg

I know for me, I can never have too many tips on how to beat acne.  It’s something that I struggle with day-by-day and I’m sure a lot of you do too!  Sometimes all we can do is look to the pros for some professional tips and advice.  Here are a few ways to beat acne fast by people that know what they’re talking about!

  • Always, always, always wash your face before bed.  If you can’t find enough motivation to do this, at least take off your makeup.  Bacteria, dirt, and oil can sit in your pores overnight and cause much bigger problems to your skin than you think!

  • Don’t over-wash your face.  Yes, washing your face is crucial, but washing it too much can actually have the opposite effect!  It can leave your skin dry and brittle which will hurt your skin and make it start to flake.

  • Leave your pimples alone.  If you continue to pop your pimples or pick at them, they can get very irritated, very fast.  If you simply leave them alone, they’ll go away at their own pace without pain or scarring!

  • Keep oil-absorbing sheets in your purse.  Oily skin can be one of the most annoying things.  It makes it harder for your makeup to stay on and leaves your skin looking overly shiny.  Keep a few oil-absorbing sheets in your purse to blot off any excess oil!

Hopefully these are some good tips that help you in your times of breakouts!  I know they helped me! 🙂

5 Upcoming Hair Trends for Fall

5 Upcoming Hair Trends for Fall
http://www.chelseacrockett.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/PicMonkey-Image-1.jpg

Hair trends are like any other trend, they stay for a season or two then get replaced by even better ones!  This fall, there are a few upcoming looks that you just might have to try out for yourself!  Here are 5 hair trends you should know about for the upcoming season!

  • Caramel Brown.  Winter is usually the time to go darker rather than lighter with your hair.  But if you don’t want to go too dark, go with a soft, caramel brown!  You can still switch up your look without going too out of your comfort zone.

  • Rose.  If you’re willing to get a little out of your comfort zone, try out a dusty rose color.  Pastel hair has become a trend in the past few years so why not hop on the bandwagon and try it out for yourself!

  • Red Accents/Highlights.  I’ve always been a little tempted to try this trend out for myself.  You can get a subtle red tint or go for a full head of vibrant, red highlights.  Whatever suits you best!

  • Bold Brown.  Instead of adding subtle brown highlights, be bold and go for a dark, chocolate brown.  Why not, right?!

  • Blonde Lowlights.  If you want something a little more natural, try blonde lowlights.  Although you can only get these if you’re already blonde, they give you that darker tint that’s perfect for the winter!

Be daring this fall and give one of these a try!  Hey, you can always dye it back right? 🙂

Velvet Foundation 101

Velvet Foundation 101
https://www.chelseacrockett.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/Chelsea-Crockett-Velvet-Foundations-101.jpg

If you’ve ever gone hunting for a good foundation, you’ve probably came across a few foundations that are known for their velvet feel and appearance!  Maybelline, NARS, and many other brands have created the perfect, velvet foundation that leaves your skin looking flawless.  Here’s all you need to know about velvet foundations and which products work best!

As far as Maybelline, their Dream Velvet Foundation ($10.99) is one of their softest foundations yet.  It has a perfect matte finish and hydrates your skin at the same time.  With this foundation, you won’t have to worry about lines or patches forming after applying it.  Chelsea Crockett - Velvet FoundationsNot only does it look soft and smooth, but feels just as good!  It’s fresh, light, and free from roughness.  They even made a specific brush called the Dream Blender ($5.99) that guarantees full, even coverage for the Dream Velvet Foundation.

What’s better than a velvet, matte, and sun-protecting foundation all in one?  NARS Cosmetics has a foundation called Velvet Matte Skin Tint Broad Spectrum SPF 30 that protects your skin and makes it look flawless!  It may be a little pricier than Maybelline’s product, but it’s only $45 which still isn’t too bad for a good quality foundation.

Are you going to try out one of these products or do you use one currently?  Let me know what you think of them in the comments below!

Heated Beauty Tools 101: How to Protect Your Hair

Heated Beauty Tools 101: How to Protect Your Hair
http://www.chelseacrockett.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/Chelsea-Crockett-Heated-Beauty-Tools.jpg

When it comes to blow dryers, hair straighteners, and curling irons, I can guarantee that every one of us have used at least one of those beauty tools before!  After we get out of the shower, before we go to school, and for lots of other occasions we usually apply heat to our hair in a number of different ways.  That being said, here is a quick guide on how to protect our hair from too much heat exposure!

Chelsea Crockett - Hair StraightenerHair Straightener:  If your hair is pretty sensitive to heat, pick a straightener that lets you pick your heat setting.  Most will allow you to turn the heat up or down in case it’s too hot or not hot enough.  If your hair is thin, I suggest lowering the heat to prevent your hair from getting burnt or damaged.  If you have thick hair, don’t be afraid to boost it up in order to achieve the sleek look you’re going for!

Curling Iron/Wand: There are a few things to consider when picking your perfect curler.  Decide if you want a simple 1-inch wand or a 2-inch curling iron that has a clamp.  Make sure you pick one that allows you to adjust your heat setting instead of relying on the amount of time you spend holding your hair to the tool or under the clamp.  This can cause the most damage without you realizing it!

Blow Dryer:  Most blow dryers will have a setting to adjust the speed and temperature of the air.  With this heated beauty tool, there isn’t much to consider since you’ll have to get the job done one way or another!

Do you have any other tips you think I should know?  Let me know below!

Natural Ways to Keep Skin Clear

Natural Ways to Keep Skin Clear
http://www.chelseacrockett.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/chelsea-crockett-natural-ways-to-keep-skin-clear.jpg

I recently did a video on YouTube about how I cleared my acne, have you seen it? If not, a quick recap is that I started using a product called “Curology” and I am absolutely in love! This acne prevention medication is custom tailored for your skin and monitored by a licensed dermatologist, so this will work with any skin type. But, for those of you who like to go the more all natural, DIY skincare route, I did a bit of research and found 4 at-home skincare tips to keep your skin clear!

  1. Incorporate coconut oil: I like to use a little coconut oil on my skin after my shower, just to keep my skin soft. It is also antibacterial, so it keeps your skin clean and clear.

  2. Exfoliate daily: Use an exfoliant such as a sugar scrub every day to keep your pores clear and skin smooth. Every-day exfoliation helps keep oil and gunk from building up on your skin and in your pores!

  3. Drink lots of water: Keeping yourself hydrated means keeping your skin hydrated! Staying hydrated helps your skin stay clear and moisturized.

  4. Change your pillowcase every/every other day. This keeps bacteria from building up and smothering your skin while you sleep!

If skin medicines aren’t your thing, try these healthy tips to keep acne away!

4 Ways to Get Ready Faster in the Morning

4 Ways to Get Ready Faster in the Morning
http://www.chelseacrockett.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/chelsea-crockett-4-Ways-to-Get-Ready-Faster-in-the-Morning.jpg

If you take advantage of every extra minute of sleep you can get, then you are like me and are always looking for ways to get ready faster in the morning to allow time to sleep in longer. Here are a few of my signature get-ready-faster tactics.

  1. Keep a pouch of essentials: Keep a small zipper pouch full of your daily essentials like gum, lip color, keys, mascara, and aspirin, that way if you switch purses or backpacks all you have to worry about is grabbing the pouch and you will know you have everything you need for the day.

  2. Document your outfits: When you find an outfit you like, take a picture of it before you leave for the day. That way, if you are ever out of outfit inspiration and are running late and can’t pick out an outfit for the day, you can go to your “outfits” folder on your phone and quickly see an ensemble that worked for you and then you can easily recreate it.

  3. Quick dry your hair: If you have time to wash your hair in the morning, don’t blow dry it right after your shower. Wrap it in an absorbent towel, go eat breakfast and get ready, then blow dry it. Blow drying your hair in a steamy bathroom can cause it to frizz up and also takes longer to dry. Waiting lets your bathroom air out.

  4. Dry shampoo before bed: This helps the dry shampoo soak up oils while you sleep and gives you clean looking/smelling hair in the morning! This saves you time because you don’t have to go wash your hair.

Beauty Uses for Old Toothbrushes

Beauty Uses for Old Toothbrushes
http://www.chelseacrockett.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/chelsea-crockett-Beauty-Uses-for-Old-Toothbrushes.jpg

Do you ever wonder what to do with old toothbrushes after you are done using them? I always feel like throwing them away is such a waste. Once you disinfect them, they are a super useful beauty tool! Here are 5 ways to re-purpose that old tooth brush to assist you in your beauty routine.

  1. Tame flyaways: Spray the bristles of the toothbrush and then use it to smooth any flyaway hairs. You can also do this to fix your eyebrows!

  2. Lip exfoliator: Before you put on lip balm, use the brush to scrub the dead skin off of your lips!

  3. Tease your hair: Use the toothbrush to tease your hair. Keep it in your purse to have a teasing brush on the go!

  4. Clean under nails and your cuticles: Use your old toothbrush to get the prettiest and cleanest nails on the block.

  5. De-clump mascara: After you apply mascara, use the toothbrush to separate your lashes.

Can you think of any other ways to use an old toothbrush in your beauty routine? Comment them below!

Do’s and Don’ts of Eye Makeup

Do’s and Don’ts of Eye Makeup
https://www.chelseacrockett.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/Chelsea-Crockett-Dos-and-Donts-of-Eye-Makeup.jpg

Eye makeup is one of my favorite things to experiment with.  You can do so many different color combinations and looks!  Looking back at my old videos and pictures, I’ve definitely gotten better at knowing how to do my eye makeup the best way to compliment the rest of my makeup.  Here are some eye makeup do’s and don’ts that I wish I would’ve known when I first started wearing makeup!

  • DO blend your eye shadow.  This will make it look much more natural and a lot less choppy.  If you get the right brush, blending is super easy!

  • DON’T add too much highlighter to your face.  This is important especially if your eye makeup is dark.  You want to make sure your makeup is all balanced out!

  • DO copy a look that you like.  If you see a celeb’s makeup that you love, it’s much easier to create a look on yourself when you have something to go off of.

  • DON’T go crazy on the eyeliner.  There are so many other ways to make your eyes pop.  You don’t have to rely heavily on your eyeliner to do so!  The occasional cat-eye is always good, but find other ways that accent and darken your eyes.

  • DO find the colors that compliment you.  If you’re blonde haired and blue eyed, it might not be the best idea to go with dark colors like black and grey.  Use soft browns and natural colors to make your eyes pop but not be too overboard!

I hope these help you master your eye makeup skills!

Bandanna Choker Fashion

Bandanna Choker Fashion
https://www.chelseacrockett.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/chelsea-crockett-bandanna-choker-style.jpg

I’ve noticed a new trend coming up through the ranks and I have to say, I love it! It is the new “bandanna choker” trend. It is retro, classic, and a great way to accessorize! Plus, bandannas are super inexpensive. Here are a few of my favorite ways this trend is being styled.

  1. Mixed patterns: This is a fun and unique way to wear the trend. Mix stripes and florals and mix colors with solids for a fun fashion statement.

  2. Trendy: This pairs two trendy looks – the off-the-shoulder trend and the choker trend! This photo is from the Instagram of one of my favorite local boutiques, MOD. I love the solid paired with the print. Such a fun look!

  3. Classic: This is the easiest and most simple way to wear the trend. Pair a solid blue, black, or white shirt with a red bandanna for a fun pop of color and retro flare.

Are you going to try this timeless trend?

Cool Beauty Uses for Vaseline

Cool Beauty Uses for Vaseline
https://www.chelseacrockett.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/chelsea-crockett-Cool-Beauty-Uses-for-Vaseline.jpg

Odds are, everyone has a jar of Vaseline under their sink right now. I was recently reading an article online about the many beauty uses of Vaseline and I was blown away! Who knew this stuff wa

s so handy? Here are my top 6 favorite beauty uses for Vaseline.

  1. Great lip balm for chapped lips. Don’t have chapstick laying around? Grab a swipe of Vaseline and rub it on your lips!

  2. Eyebrow gel. Use a small bit of Vaseline to tame your brows instead of buying expensive brow gel.

  3. Makeup remover. This stuff cuts through makeup like a champ! Take a little bit and rub it in circles on your face to work it into your makeup. Then wipe off with a paper towel or damp cloth.

  4. Keeps your perfume lasting longer. Apply Vaseline to the same areas of skin that you spray perfume before you spray it. It helps your perfume maintain it’s scent for longer!

  5. Homemade scrub: Mix Vaseline with sugar or sea salt to make a homemade exfoliant!

  6. Preps your lips for lipstick. Put some Vaseline on your lips, leave for a few minutes, then scrub your lips with a toothbrush. Rinse it off and see how soft they are!

I have also found that when I have super dry and scaly skin, I can rub some Vaseline on it and it is a great moisturizer. This stuff is so useful, so if you don’t already have a tub of it on hand I recommend grabbing some!

Do you use Vaseline in your beauty routine? If so, comment below and tell me how! I love hearing about new beauty remedies.

Coconut Oil Beauty Remedies

Coconut Oil Beauty Remedies
https://www.chelseacrockett.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/chelsea-crockett-coconut-oil-beaut-remedies.jpg

Coconut oil is the Jack of all trades. It can literally do EVERYTHING! You can cook with it, use it for household cleaning, bake with it, and even use it in your beauty routine! After reading this article you are going to want to run to the store and grab you a jar, I guarantee it.

  1. Moisturizer: I keep a jar of coconut oil by my sink and use it as lotion for my face and body when I get out of the shower.

  2. Makeup remover: Like I said above, I keep a jar of the oil by my sink. At the end of the day, I just scrape a little out of the jar and rub it on my eyelids and under my eyes, and use a tissue to wipe my makeup off. It works sooooo well, and it doesn’t irritate my eyes like other makeup removers!

  3. Shaving cream: Slather some coconut oil on your legs as shaving cream! It will melt right on your skin, and it will leave your legs feeling ultra smooth afterwards.

  4. Toothpaste: Yup, this is even good to use to clean your teeth! There are tons of DIY coconut oil toothpastes out there, and it is much better for your body than store bought toothpaste.

All-natural is the way to go! Plus, when you use coconut oil in your beauty routine, you end up smelling slightly like coconut, which reminds me of the beach, so that is always a plus!

No Beauty Shines Brighter Than That of a Good Heart

No Beauty Shines Brighter Than That of a Good Heart
https://www.chelseacrockett.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/tumblr_nub3pkBr671uudyqzo1_1280.jpg

We have all heard the saying that “It’s not what’s on the outside, but what’s on the inside that counts.” And although we hear that a lot, we don’t always believe it. Especially in this day and age, where looks are everything. I want to tell you something: no beauty shines brighter than that of a good heart.

Having a good heart isn’t a quality that everyone possesses. To me, having a good heart means you care about and for others, you are gracious, you are kind, and you have pure intentions. When someone has a good heart, you can tell almost immediately when you meet them. Their personality shows it! People with kind hearts are refreshing to be around. They make you want to be around them and they make you want to be like them. Also, when your heart and personality is beautiful, it automatically makes you look more beautiful! Your smile will tell others the beauty of your heart. Try and show others the beauty that is in your heart. Show them the love that Jesus has shown you. It’s a game changer!

Best 3 Drugstore Contour Palettes

Best 3 Drugstore Contour Palettes
https://www.chelseacrockett.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Chelsea-Crockett-Drugstore-Contour-Palettes.jpg

Drugstore makeup is one of the most wonderful things.  You can shop some of the best brands and products for an extremely low price!  High-end contour palettes can range anywhere from $50 to $100 and, if you’re thinking what I’m thinking, that’s pretty expensive, especially when you can buy a similar palette for $5-$20!  Here are 3 of my favorite drugstore palettes!

  • Covergirl’s TruBlend Contour Palette ($12).  Chelsea Crockett - Covergirl Contour PaletteAlthough this palette is super simple, it works so well!  This palette comes in three different shades, light, medium, and dark, so you can find the perfect one for your skin tone.  The color of each powder is extremely natural so they blend together for a smooth, professional look.

  • Rimmel Kate Sculpting Cosmetic Set ($6).  If you want a sharper contour as well as highlighter and blush, then this palette is for you!  It’s easy to take with you on-the-go and has the whole package for a flawless makeup look.  Did I mention it’s only six dollars?

  • E.L.F. Contour Palette ($6).  This palette gives you four shades instead of three!  Each color is a cream and powder formula so it applies beautifully onto the skin and blends just as well.  Once again, it’s only six bucks!

Have you tried any of these products yourself?  Let me know what you think below!

  2. Gorgeous geometric: This style is for my girly gals! It combines soft, romantic pink with sassy glitter for a “reversed french tip” look. I think this one is the most “me.”nails 2

  3. Sweet and subtle: If you go for the more understated look, just paint a simple coat of light pink polish over your nails! This is a totally simple way to add a little extra to your V-Day ensemble. I love Essie’s color “Ballet Slipper.” That’s what on my nails right now!

Top 5 Sephora Beauty Buys So Far in 2017

Top 5 Sephora Beauty Buys So Far in 2017
http://www.chelseacrockett.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Chelsea-Crockett-Sephora-Beauty-Buys.jpg

Sephora is one of my go-to places when it comes to buying makeup.  It has one of the best selections of my favorite brands and products!  So far in 2017, there’s already a list of best-selling products that have been super popular in stores.  Here are the top five from last month so you can give them a try, too!

  • Amika Polished Perfection Straightening Brush ($120).  I’ve always been skeptical if straightening brushes actually work.  It may be expensive, but it’s one of their best-selling products at the time so it definitely guarantees to gets the job done!    Chelsea Crockett - Ouai Dry Shampoo Foam

  • Becca Soft Light Blurring Powder ($38).  It can be hard to get the perfect texture and tone after applying your makeup.  This powder helps to smooth out any blemishes or uneven texture.

  • Ouai Dry Shampoo Foam ($28).  Different from other dry shampoo sprays, this foam leaves your hair with added volume and texture than before!  Sprays can sometimes add to the greasiness of your hair, but with this light formula you don’t have to worry about too much product.

  • Bumble and Bumble Surf Foam Spray Blow Dry ($31).  A two-in-one foam spray?  Count me in!  This product gives your hair all the texture and volume you could want.

  • Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Mascara ($26).  Everyone has that one mascara that’s their go-to product.  This mascara makes your lashes look as smooth as velvet!

Which product are you most interested in trying out?  Let me know in the comments below!

Why You Should Always Change Your Clothes After the Gym

Why You Should Always Change Your Clothes After the Gym
http://www.chelseacrockett.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/Chelsea-Crockett-Gym-Clothes.jpg

When I have time, I love to hit the gym and workout.  With that being said, I’d be lying if I said I never break a sweat when I exercise.  You might not even be aware of what can happen to your body after going to the gym, but here are a few reasons why you should always change out of your clothes after a hard workout!

  • We all know how acne appears right?  When our pores get clogged, especially after a sweaty workout, acne starts to pop up around our body, not just face.  Leaving damp, dirty clothes on for long periods of time suffocates and clogs our pores!Chelsea Crockett - Exercise

  • Okay, this one might be the grossest.  Bacterial infections love to feed off of sweat.  When you leave on damp, sweaty clothing, you’re leaving little to no room for your skin to breathe.  This is the perfect opportunity for bacteria to grow!

  • When it comes to feet, we all know they can get pretty smelly at times.  If you’re someone that works out every day and leaves your socks and shoes on for hours at a time, they have no room to air out!

  • A lot of the time when we workout, we wear tight clothing such as leggings, sports bras, tanks, etc.  Just like acne, inflamed hair follicles can appear from suffocating your pores.  If you’ve ever had one before, you know how uncomfortable and painful they can be!

Crazy, right?  Well, now you know!  Make sure you’re always keeping your body clean and fresh!

Top 3 Foundations for Liquid-Lovers

Top 3 Foundations for Liquid-Lovers
http://www.chelseacrockett.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/Chelsea-Crockett-Liquid-Foundations.png

For those of you that hate powder foundations, liquid is the only way to get the job done!  Sometimes it can be hard to find the right product that won’t sweat off after an hour or suffocate your skin.  All three of these liquid foundations are great for all skin types and are definitely worth the buy!

  • Clinique’s Superbalanced Silk Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15.  This is one of my favorite liquid foundations, especially if you have sensitive skin.  There are over 15 different shades to match whatever your skin tone may be!  It’s silk-enriched leaving a smooth, balanced base on your skin.  It also controls oil and hydrates the dry areas of your face!  It’s a win-win product. 🙂 Chelsea Crockett - Clinique Foundation

  • IT Cosmetics’ Your Skin But Better CC+ Illumination with SPF 50+.  If you’re looking for a light formula with good quality, then look no more!  This CC+ Cream gives you full coverage with a radiant afterglow, too.  It’s also guaranteed to camouflage any imperfections such as acne or dark spots!

  • Estée Lauder’s Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup.  If you’re willing to spend $40 on foundation, I suggest you spend it on this product!  There are over 30 different shades so you’ll be sure to find one that matches your skin tone perfectly.  It stays on for up to 15 hours so you won’t have to worry about reapplying throughout the day!

Have you tried any of these before?  If so, give me your take on them in the comment section below!
