It has been raining non-stop where I live, so I really haven’t been able to do anything fun outdoors for a while. Instead of sitting around and pouting about the rain, I decided to figure out fun things my friends and I could do indoors. I can remember making blanket forts when I was little and having a blast, so we decided to make tons of forts and then watch movies under them. Here is a perfect rainy day tent snack…S’mores dip!enhanced-9943-1435096761-7

  • 1/2 tablespoon butter

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

  • 15 jumbo marshmallows, halved

  • Graham cracker squares

Place an 8 inch skillet on the center rack and preheat the oven to 450 with the skillet inside.  Once oven is preheated, use a pot holder to remove hot skillet from the oven. Put the butter in the skillet and use a pot holder to hold the handle and swirl the skillet so that the melted butter coats the bottom and sides. Layer the chocolate chips in an even layer into the bottom of the skillet. Arrange marshmallow halves over the surface of the chocolate chips, covering the chocolate completely. Bake the skillet for 5 to 7 minutes or until marshmallows are nice and toasty. Use an oven mitt to remove the skillet from the oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes.

Now devour!

What a sweet rainy day treat!

XOXO, Chels
