Denim is one of the most versatile textiles in your wardrobe. You can rock it in the fall, winter, spring, summer, it is a year-round fashion statement! Today we are going to focus on springtime denim. There are a few denim clad looks I am rocking this spring that I think you will dig! Here they are!

1. Frayed ankle jeans: I picked up a pair of these babies at MOD the other day, and I am in love. I love the unique look of having frayed ankles instead of the usual hemmed ones. I like pairing these with ankle booties and a fun flowy top.


2. Denim babydoll dresses: If you are in search of a way to wear denim that has a feminine flair, look no further! Denim babydoll dresses are the perfect solution. Find one with elbow or long sleeves to keep you warm during chilly spring days, and pair it with a felt floppy hat and suede booties for a super sweet ensemble!


3. Classic jean jacket: I wear my jean jacket alllll the time. They are so versatile, you can dress them up, dress them down, and everything in between! If you want a nautical, East coast vibe, pair some white jeans with a striped shirt and denim jacket. Easy, effortless, and awfully stylish. Denim jackets even go with dresses!

So, here is the deal. You wore this super cute outfit out with your friends, and are feeling supa-fine. You all take a picture together, they post it, and you look at it later and think “holy cow, did I really look like THAT?!” We have all had that happen to us. Our outfit looks great in the mirror or on the hanger, but when we see our self later in a pic, we realize it was less than flattering. To avoid this happening to you ever again, here is a list of the most photogenic clothes!

1. Fitted sweater: Even in the spring and summer, a sweater can be worn quite stylishly with a skirt or shorts! I know we all loooove our oversized sweaters and blouses, but save them for a day when you know you won’t be needed in any photos because they add bulk to your frame. If you just cannot part with your oversized tops, then tuck them into a pair of highrise shorts or jeans to show off your waist.
2. A midi skirt: As we have discussed, I love midi skirts. They are a great equalizer that works for everyone and are appropriate for every occasion. They cinch your waist and make it look slim, then flairs out to give you shape!
3. Strappy heels: These shoes are so popular right now- from the red carpet to prom to date night! A two strap heel, like the ones in the picture, straightens your posture, lengthens your legs, and if you choose a nude pair they go with everything!
4. Off-the-shoulder: I have written about these before… I love them so much! They are so flattering because they show off your shoulders and collarbones while disguising your upper arms, which are the widest part of your arms.

Mmmkay, so let me tell you about a fashion trend that I am totally loving right now. It is the “off-the-shoulder” clothing trend. If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen me rocking the trend in a dress from MOD! I feel like this trend is so fun, effortless, and feminine. Here are 3 of my favorite ways to wear the trend.

1. On a dress: This is my favorite way to rock the off-the-shoulder trend. One reason is because I love wearing dresses and would wear them every day if I could. The second is because it is just so fun and flirty! Perfect for a spring or summer date night or wedding.
2. On a shirt: An off-the-shoulder shirt with a pair of skinny jeans is a great everyday look during the sprng and summer time. It is such a breezy, chic combo.
3. On a romper: Rompers are such a fun spring and summer outfit. They are the perfect in-between style choice if you are don’t want to wear a dress but you aren"t keen on shorts either. Super cute and casual! I love this off-the-shoulder romper, because it is preppy and pretty.

I just cannot get enough of this trend and will most definitely be rocking it during these warm-weather months! What are your thoughts on it?

Watches are a classic statement piece. They add a timeless touch to any outfit, plus, they make sure you are on time! ;) Today I am going to tell you the 3 watches every girl needs in her wardrobe. Each is unique and adds its own special flare to any outfit it accents! Plus they can be worn year round because they are so versitile.

1. The classic: Every girl needs one watch that goes with evvvverything. These watches can be worn to school, to work, and then out with friends even when you have changed your outfit 3 different times! It is versitile and classic. I love this Kate Spade watch because of the adorable gold and white face and the cute leather band.
2. The statement: A statement watch can be the focal point of your whole outfit! I love this map-faced watch. It reminds me of my love for traveling! I also love it because it has a sort of boho/vintage/hipster flare to it!
3. The unique: If you want to add dimension to your outfit, you need a wraparound watch. The strap wraps around your wrist a few times which gives it a unique look. I love this look because it is a little edgy! I would wear it with an oversized neutral sweater or a military jacket and some ripped up black skinny jeans.
