Another love of mine is online shopping. How awesome is it that I don’t have to get off my couch to shop till I drop? Today I am going to tell you my favorite online shopping sites, and the pros and cons of each.

Sammydress.com

• Pro: This website seriously has everything. You can find everything from phone cases, to shoes, to the cutest sundresses you will ever find. They have an amazing selection of everything, and it is all so cheap! Their jewelry starts at $1.00 and goes to about $4.00. Their shirts are super cheap too! Most of them are between $4-8.


• Con: The shipping! Because they are located in China, the shipping is not cheap and it takes a long time for your package to arrive.

Urbanog.com

• Pro: They have such adorable stuff! I mostly go there for the shoes, but they also have a pretty awesome selection of clothes. But more on the shoes, I have bought three pairs from them already, and I plan purchasing more soon! They have an incredible selection of boots, sandals , flats, pumps, any kind of shoe you can think of even combat boots! Their shipping was speedy and the shoes are great quality. Every day they have a different pair of shoes featured in the “Deal of the Day” where they give you an amazing deal on the pair featured. They are always a super cute pair. I want them all!


• Con: Sometimes my size of shoe is out of stock and that makes me sad.

Forever21.com

• Pro: Everyone loves Forever21 right? Their clothes are so cute and their style is right on target. Also, the prices cannot be beat! Sometimes they carry items on the website that are not available in stores, which is also pretty cool. I like to check out the clearance section, because there are always unbeatable sales there too.


• Con: Because the prices are so low, that can mean that some of their items are not of the best quality, but you get what you pay for! Not all of the items are low quality, but you just have to watch out for it. Also, the online selection could be beefed up a bit, but other than that I love the site!

Hey girlies!  Rocking your own style is one of the best things about fashion.  You can mix and match until you find a perfect look that fits you.  One of my favorite things I’ve discovered is how to use an ordinary piece of clothing and make it your own.  The easiest way to do so is with an everyday tank top or t-shirt.

A new trend I see almost every where is high waisted shorts.  Tucking your tank into these is super casual, cute, and quick!  If you have a looser shirt and don’t think it will look good tucked in, leave it out and gather it together in the front.  After that, make a small tie on either the right or left side of your shirt.  This still shows off your shorts and gives your look a more creative feel.  Another way to wear your tank is simply letting it hang straight down.  If you’re just lounging around or watching a movie with friends, this keeps it comfy and casual.  You also don’t have to worry about constantly keeping it tucked in.  These three styles are easy to do and will look great wherever you are this summer!

Life can get pretty crazy at times and it’s easy to lose yourself amongst all of the chaos.  Unfortunately, too many people let themselves get more and more out of hand instead of doing something about it!  Whether it’s in a relationship, with your group of friends, school, work, or your home life, taking control of your life is very important. 

Staying off social media for a while can be a healthy cleanse for the mind.  Between Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc., it’s so easy to get caught up in all the drama.  Try deleting the apps from your phone making it easier to stay away from them.  It’s important to tune into the real world and focus on what’s really going on in life.  Another great way to get your life back in order is to be honest.  When something is bothering, don’t hold all that frustration in.  Talk to others about what is going on.  It’s better to get your feelings out than to hold a grudge.

When it comes to school and work, the best way to stay sane is to be organized.  Write everything down, keep a planner, and do not hesitate to ask questions.  Too many people are afraid to ask their boss or teacher questions to point them in the right direction.  DON’T!  It’ll make your life so much easier!

You’re the boss of your life, so make changes that’ll make yourself happy!

Hello Lovely Ladies,

            Crazy makeup trends have been all over the magazines lately.  With celebrities like Lady Gaga all over social media, colorful makeup is sure to take off.  So are makeup products like colored lipstick and mascara odd or in?  Let’s investigate!

Many makeup products claim that their colored mascara will bring out the customers eye color.  Although this may be true with blue and green eyes, would you really want to have blue or green eyelashes?  It would also affect the type of eye shadow you would use and the clothes you wear.  These colored mascaras have the potential to clash easily.  I would say “no” to colored mascara.  Be natural!

Colored lipstick is different from colored mascara and a little more acceptable.  The obvious colors, like pink and red, are always classy and timeless.  They also add a little pop of color to any outfit!  So what about the other colors?  Most other colors I would say “no” to, but light purple and orange/coral are acceptable!  Purple is a mysterious color that can look really pretty paired with light colors.  Try going for a purple lipstick with a pink undertone.  Orange lipstick is great for summer and fall!  It looks great up against tan skin and is the perfect fall color.  Pair it with bright colors in the warm months and brown/tan in the chillier months.  Don’t completely say “no” to bold lipstick colors.

Sometimes it’s fun to go out on a limb with your makeup; but make sure you don’t take it too far.  Know your limits with makeup and what colors and shades are acceptable!

Hey insiders!

It’s finally bonfire weather, which means big sweaters, s’mores, and memories made with your closest friends.  The weather’s just a little chilly, allowing you to bundle up by the fire and enjoy some apple cider.  Whether you’re going to a bonfire or hosting one, you’re going to need an outfit that’s going to be on fire (not literally).

If the bonfire bash you’re attending is just a small get-together with friends, putting a lot of thought into your outfit isn’t needed.  A big sweatshirt and sweatpants is all you need to keep you warm and comfy while roasting marshmallows.

If you’re attending more of a party/bonfire, you’ll need a fashionable, yet warm, autumn outfit to wear.  Since over-sized sweaters are a huge trend in the fashion world, they’re perfect to throw on with your favorite pair of leggings.  Pair this with your favorite boots and you’re set.  I prefer combat boots because, in addition to keeping your toes warm, they’re also stylish and edgy.  If you want to accessorize, try wearing a scarf and purse to match.  Even throw on a beanie to make your look trendier.

Of course, you can always take the even dressier route.  Denim and plaid are both two styles that are hot in Hollywood right now.  If you choose to wear either of these patterns, try rocking a long-sleeved button up.  Instead of buttoning it up, leave it open and show off your favorite shirt or V-neck.  As for pants, simply wearing jeans or leggings will work just fine.
