Jewelry comes in all shapes and sizes... And not to forgot styles and designs!  I love the outdoors and basically anything that has to do with nature. I"ve found some brands and accessories that have a nature vibe to them for the outdoor lovers!

As I"ve written an article on them before, Alex and Ani has tons of bangle bracelets that represent almost anything including adventure, nature, life, etc.  They have bracelets with the tree of life, certain animals and their tracks, adventure themed symbols, and many others.  They"re so cute and you can pick from a large variety!

If you love the mountains, I found the perfect necklace on Pinterest for you! It’s called the Change of Scenery Necklace and can be found on modcloth.com. The picture on the left is a little preview for you! I’m in love with it and it’s only $15! The reviews and ratings on it are great saying that the quality is awesome for its price. For $15, why not treat yourself?

Lastly, Etsy also has a variety of nature-oriented products. I found a set of necklaces in particular that have a cool concept to them! They each have a stone with a charm hanging off of it. The charms can be seashells, starfish, doves, etc. I think they’re so cute and simple. Click here to check them out!

Boho jewelry has made its stylish statement in the fashion world as it sweeps the pages on Pinterest and appears on everyone’s Instagram feeds! On Pinterest (of course) I discovered a jewelry brand called Indie and Harper that offers a variety of necklaces, bracelets, rings, etc. I am so obsessed!

Their necklaces are the main source of attraction to their brand. One of their most popular necklaces is the Half Moon Pendant Necklace shown on the right! It’s $35 but I think it’s totally worth it! They also have a wide variety of other designs such as a whale tail, a feather, rose quartz, etc. Most are cheaper than other jewelry brands and their quality is just as good!

If you’re more of a bracelet or ring girl, you’ll be obsessed with these too! Most of their rings are super simple, but include a cool stone or emblem! Indie and Harper is really big on stones which can be cut tiny to add some extra decoration to your ring. As far as the bracelets go, there isn’t as big of a selection but still worth a look!

Spring is one of the prettiest times of the year! All around you, flowers are starting to appear! Flowers are not only gorgeous and a perfect gift, but a fashion statement as well. What better time to rock some sunflowers than spring?

If you’ve checked out the latest issues of fashion magazines, you have seen all the popular trends that involve floral jewelry. Chunky necklaces, like the one on the right, are super cute and classy.  To check out some of these necklaces, click here!  Other accessories, such as earrings and bracelets, are just as stylish. It totally fits the mood of spring!

Other accessories can be found right outside your front door :)! I know a lot of us have tumblrs, and I’ve seen this on my feed many times. Go outside and pick out some flowers, depending on how long your hair is. Then braid, or fishtail, your hair. After your hair is in a nice (or messy!) braid, put the flowers randomly throughout your hair. Look at the pictures on the left for example, so creative!

To state the most obvious trend for spring is the floral pattern. This pattern is cute on almost any article of clothing. My favorite place to see this design is on simple sundresses! They’re perfect for a day out shopping or lunch with your friends!

Hey girls!

            Knowing how to style your jewelry can be hard.  You want to balance it just right without wearing too much or too little.  The amount of jewelry you wear and how much “bling” it has differs from going to school to dressing up for prom!

              As for a causal day at school, I like to keep it super simple.  For my earrings, I usually just wear studs.  As for a necklace, I would suggest a small one that lays just below your collar bone such as a cross one on the right.  This keeps your jewelry balanced and pretty easy!

            If you’re wondering how to style your accessories for more of a formal event such as prom or homecoming, no need to worry!  This isn’t as hard as you think!  Getting a simple, yet attention-catching, pair of dangle earrings will look great with your gorgeous dress!  Finish it off with beautiful necklace that hangs just right with your dress.

            One of the things I try to stick with is the same color of my jewelry.  I try to avoid mix-matching such as a silver necklace with a gold bracelet.  Some magazines even say it’s a major don’t in the fashion world!  So, before you leave the house, make sure your jewelry is color coded!
