Being a girl can be tough.  Between dealing with boys, periods, shaving, and a beauty routine, guys have it easy!  When it comes to shaving, it’s easy to get those pesky bumps and razor burn.  Sometimes it goes away in a day; other times it stays for a week.  So what can you do to prevent these burns/bumps from appearing?  Check out these quick and easy home remedies to treat and prevent these annoying burns!Chelsea Crockett- deodorant

  1. If you feel as if you may have gotten a razor burn immediately after shaving, splash ice cold water on the affected area! This will tighten the skin and reduce future inflammation. Lathering the area with aloe after will speed up the heeling process!

  2. As crazy is it may sound, using deodorant on parts of your body other than your armpits can actually prevent razor bumps from forming! Glide a small amount of deodorant on the affected area and watch the bumps disappear!

  3. Did you know that honey has anti-bacterial purposes? It can reduce inflammation and heal razor burn fast! Apply a small amount to the irritated area and let it fully air dry before wiping it off with a damp rag.

  4. If your razor burn itches, try apple cider vinegar! Dab a cotton ball in the apple cider vinegar and rub it on the razor burn. Let it dry before wiping it off! Do this each day until the burning or itching sensation stops!

Being a girl isn’t so bad after all with quick fixes like these!
