To be honest, I wasn’t a huge fan of the “camo” trend when it started popping up recently. I didn’t think I could dress camo up or make it work for me, but I was totally wrong! If you are a little skeptical, then start of slow with just one camo item. Grab a pair of camo pants and hit the ground running! Here are the ways that I made camo cute.

1. Add in chambray: A chambray shirt is always a safe addition to any outfit. Pair your camo pants with a simple chambray button up! The simplicity of the shirt will totally offset the camo pattern.


2. Just add a jean jacket: One of the easiest ways to rock camo pants is with a jean jacket. Add in a simple tee, some statement jewelry, and some cute converse or booties and you are all set!


3. Pile on the patterns: Pattern mixing is an art not easily mastered by everyone. But, in this case, mixing a black and white thin-striped shirt with your camo is totally A-OK!


4. Layer in leather: Looking for an easy edgy outfit? Toss in a leather jacket. Boom, instant edge!


5. Dress it up: Yes, that’s right, you can dress up camo! It is easy. Add a black peplum and strappy heels and you are good to go!
