I love my EOS lip balm. I really do. But what I don’t love is when it runs out! Instead of throwing away your old EOS balm containers, reuse them and refill them with your own homemade DIY lip balm! Here is how.c8d31c4d0e17660851ef131b4353aa33

Remove the cap from the balm container and carefully pop the base from the bottom (there are YouTube vids to help describe this process, see a video HERE). Once you have deconstructed your container as to the YouTube instructions, you are ready to make your balm!

You will need a teaspoon of your favorite oil such as almond or sunflower seed oil. You will also need a ½ teaspoon of coconut oil or cocoa butter. You will need 1/8 tsp of Vitamin E oil also. Place all of the ingredients except the Vitamin E oil and any essential oils you may want into a glass bowl and sit it in a bowl of hot water. Stir until they are all melted, and then add in the Vitamin E oil and 4 drops of essential oil (if you prefer your balm to have a scent) and mix well.

Carefully pour the balm into your container as per the YouTube instructions, allow the balm to harden for a few hours, and then make sure your pieces are all in place and ready to go!

Easy peasy!

XOXO, Chels
