Prom season is here, ladies! It’s time for prom-posals, dress shopping, and lots of excitement. Every girl wants to look their best on prom night, and the first step in doing so is finding the perfect dress! It’s harder said than done, so here are some things to considering for your prom dress search!

First, most people say you need to have an idea of what you’re looking for. Having a general idea in your head of what you like and what you don’t like can really help. There are so many styles, shapes, and colors to choose from! If you know you don’t like the look of mermaid dresses on you, don’t worry about trying those on. If you want a two-piece dress, be on the hunt for one that catches your eye. That being said, some of the best dresses are found on the spot. If you fall in love with a dress that isn’t at all what you wanted, who cares! It may not even be what you’re looking for, but those finds can often be the greatest!

Knowing what you like and what you don’t like is key. If you’re worried about pulling up your strapless dress all night, avoid trying those on! Knowing what you’ll be comfortable in is the most important thing. Also, if you know who’s in your prom group, try avoiding buying the same one (or even similar) as your friends! That can cause problems when two girls in the same group show up wearing the same dress!
