Fall"s Favorite Pattern - Plaid

To me, one of the classiest, most preppy patterns is plaid. Wouldn’t you agree? The best time to wear plaid is during the autumn and winter months, and luckily those months are upon us! Here are a few of my favorite ways to pair up plaid this season.
- Dress it up: Layer a chunky cable knit sweater over a plaid skirt or dress for a layered fall look. Add in some booties and a felt hat to complete the ensemble! I love this pairing because it is just too cute for words! So pretty and preppy.
- Layer it up: Pair your favorite plaid flannel with a puffy or faux fur vest for a cute, simple, everyday look! Add some brown riding boots and you are good to go. If you want something casual, pair a solid long sleeved tee with dark pants and a plaid flannel wrapped around your waist.
- Scarf it up: The easiest way to wear plaid this season is to wear it in scarf form! Pair a plaid scarf or blanket scarf with your favorite sweater to add a little extra oomf to your outfit.
