Red velvet cake is to die for. I love that stuff! That is why when I saw this recipe for red velvet hot chocolate I KNEW I had to share it! I cannot wait to try it. Red velvet cake…in a cup?! Love it!

Ingredients:

  1. 4 cups whole milk
  2. 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  3. 10 ounces semi-sweet baking chocolate, coarsely chopped
  4. 2 teaspoons McCormick Red Food Color
  5. 1 teaspoon McCormick Pure Vanilla Extract

To make the hot chocolate, place the milk and sugar in a saucepan. Bring it to a simmer on medium heat and stir until the sugar is dissolved. After you are done, remove it from the heat and stir in the food coloring and vanilla. Pour into serving cups, top with some yummy whipped cream, and there you go! Red velvet cake in a cup. Does it get any better? If you are craving something sweet and tummy-warming, try this out!

XOXO, Chels
