Colosians 3:12 tells us “Clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.” You can wear the cutest clothes and be the best dressed gal in town, but if your personality isn’t clothed in the qualities that we talked about above, you aren’t stylish in the sight of God.

Wearing stylish and cute clothes makes us feel pretty and confident. Wearing a compassionate, kind, humble, gentle and patient personality should do the same. If you look great but have a bad attitude, people will not be as quick to be your friend. I know that I strive to clothe myself in the virtues mentioned in Colissians 3:12 because they make me feel beautiful. They make people want to be around me, and they make me a good friend and role model. They will do the same for you if you choose to wear them!

Instead of worrying so much about our outward appearance, we should start paying more attention to what is on the inside.
