Lighten Your Hair Naturally!

Going to the salon to lighten your hair can be a pain.  Between the harsh chemicals and heavy price tag, it’s almost not worth it; not to mention the fading of the color over time!  Lucky for us girls, there are natural ways to lighten your hair this summer!  Getting sun-kissed hair has never been easier!Chelsea Crockett- lemon highlighter

  1. Boil one tea bag in water for 10 minutes and then rinse your hair with it. Leave the tea in your hair for 15 minutes before rinsing it out!

  2. Before lying out in the sun, squeeze a fresh lemon throughout your hair. The sun and lemon juice will act together to lighten your hair!

  3. Add cinnamon to a small amount of conditioner, enough to coat your entire head evenly, and brush it through your hair. Pin your hair up to leave it in for a few hours or for quicker results; use a shower cap so you can sleep with the mixture on overnight.

  4. Crush 8 or 9 vitamin C tablets and mix them together with your shampoo. Shampoo and condition as you normally would and rinse!

Remember, results take time!  You may need to do each treatment multiple times before noticing lighter hair!

Love,

Chelsea
