Hi Insiders,

Nothing says comfy-cozy like throwing on an over-sized tee and a pair of sneakers.  Lucky for you, the tomboy trend has been seen all over the streets of NYC and LA and is totally acceptable to rock!  So what if you want to try the trend, but are afraid of looking too much like a boy?  Follow a few of my simple tips to give the tomboy look a girly flare.

The tomboy trend focuses on over-sized clothing, comfortable shoes, and messy hair.  Although it may sound impossible, it IS possible to make this look girly.  Instead of wearing an over-sized tee, try an over-sized sweater instead.  A sweater instantly takes the look from masculine to feminine.  Go for a sweater that hit below the waist, it should not be form fitting.  If you’re not one to wear baggy pants, then leggings are always a great option.  Add your favorite pair of sneakers and a ball cap and your tomboy outfit is complete! Chelsea Crockett- tomboy look

Another great tomboy look is skinny ripped jeans with a tee and open flannel.  It’s a really simple look that I’m sure you can find in your closet already! Don’t afraid to add a pair of stud earrings for a little more added girliness.  Take advantage of this comfy trend while it is popular!  Trends are always changing!

Love,

Chelsea
