DIY Colorful Charm Bangles

Throwing on a bright colored bracelet can spice up any outfit!  Depending on what you’re wearing, finding the right style and color of bracelet can be tricky.  Luckily, there’s a way to customize your own bangles!

What you’ll need:

• plain metal bangles


• super glue


• colorful embroidery floss


• charms with an open and close clasp (optional)


• plain rings with an open and close clasp (optional)

Start by placing a small dab of glue on the outside of the bangle and gluing the end of the floss to it.  Once the glue dries and the floss is in place, begin wrapping the floss tightly around the bangle.  If you feel the need to do so, you can add small dots of glue throughout the bangle to ensure that the floss will stay in place.  Once the entire bangle is covered in bright, beautiful colors, secure the floss by cutting it and gluing the end with one more dab of super glue.

If you want to continue on and add charms to your bangle, then add as many charms and plain rings as you want!  Since a bangle cannot be opened up, it’s important for the charms to have a way to be opened and placed on the bracelet.  Try making an array of these bangles to wear up your arm.  It’s the perfect way to add a little color to any outfit!
