The Perfect Pedi!

Some may say a pedicure is the perfect time to relax, unwind, and get pampered.  I can agree with this.  Freshly painted toes are one of the best feelings in the world!  Unfortunately, most pedicures come at a heavy price; especially if you go regularly!  Instead of hitting up the salon every 2 weeks, try giving yourself an at-home pedicure!  It’s simple and easy; plus, your bank account will thank you!  Give it a try!

As crazy as it may sound, a milk bath is actually beneficial to your feet by smoothing calluses.  Start by filling a bowl with warm water and milk.  Let your feet soak for as long as you’d like!  Next, rub cuticle oil on each toe and start to push back each cuticle with your finger nail.  Rinse each foot and dry them off with a towel!  Now, cut back and file your nails to your liking!

Refill the bowl with clean hot water.  Using a pumice stone or foot scrub, scrub away any dry, unwanted skin.  Be sure to target your toes and heels!  Once your feetChelsea Crockett- painted toenails feel new again, rinse away the dead skin, dry your feet, and lather them with lotion!  Last but not least, pick out your polish and paint away!

Next time you’re dying for a pedicure, but don’t have the money to do so, try giving yourself one!  You may surprise yourself!

XOXO,

Chelsea
