For a beauty vlogger, one of the worst feelings is picking up your favorite eye shadow has been crushed to bits. What a heartbreaking moment! This can happen if you accidentally drop it on the floor or if you toss it in your purse and it gets knocked around. This has happened to some of my bronzers and blushes as well. I have found a solution to this unfortunate situation.

What you will need:Fix-broken-eye-shadow-before-and-after

  • rubbing alcohol

  • empty spray bottle

  • coin the size of your eyeshadow

  • tissue or piece of fabric

1.First, if your eye shadow is cracked into larger pieces, use a pencil or pen to smash it into tiny pieces. This will make it easier to put back together, believe it or not.

  1. Fill your empty spray bottle with rubbing alcohol. Spray it onto the eye shadow. You want the powder to be soaked in rubbing alcohol so spray it good!

  2. Take a coin that is roughly the size of your eye shadow and wrap a tissue around it. Press the wrapped coin into the eye shadow as hard as you can to pack the powder back together. Do this for around 30 seconds.

  3. Gently lift the coin off of the eye shadow and let the shadow dry.

Your eye shadow will be as good as new once it dries out! This process also works with blush or bronzer too! Give it a try next time your favorite eye shadow gets crushed to bits. It is such a life saver!

XOXO, Chels
