Why You Shouldn’t Be Afraid of Failure

Failure can be a terrifying thing. You may think you have everything figured out until life takes an unexpected turn. You may be confused and not understand why you can’t succeed. There is much to know about failure including all of the wonderful blessings hidden throughout it. If you’re trying to get through a time of disappointment or failure, then this article is for you!

In 2 Corinthians 4:2, it says “We are persecuted, but God does not leave us. We are hurt sometimes, but we are not destroyed.” Even back in biblical times, God’s people felt pain, rejection, and of course, failure. Proverbs 24:16 says, “The righteous may fall seven times but still get up, but the wicked will stumble into trouble.” Like the picture above, God wants us to persevere, especially through times where we don’t believe we can.

I know you all have heard me talk about the verse Jeremiah 29:11 a numerous amount of times… But if you don’t know it, it says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” I’ve always loved this verse because it constantly reminds me that I shouldn’t be afraid of failure or a little fork in the road. At the end of the day, God will provide a better plan than we could ever put together ourselves. Trust in God and know that we will be successful if we simply follow Him!
