Having a spa day at an actual spa can be extremely expensive. Of course the treatments and messages are fabulous, but can be super overpriced! A DIY spa day at home is just what the doctor ordered. Here’s what you need:

One of my favorite things to do with my mom and sister is getting manicures and pedicures. It’s fun to do every once in a while but can start to add up. By doing a few simple steps at home, you can get almost the same turnout! Start off by using a small paintbrush to apply a layer of Elmer’s glue around your nail. This way you won’t get polish on your skin, it’ll just peel right off! Also when painting on your polish, don’t only apply a clear coat after, but before too! This will give your polish a good base in order to last longer.

What’s a spa without a facial? Chelsea Crockett - Banana MaskThis is a great recipe that’s simple to make so all your friends can enjoy. As you all know… I LOVE bananas! This face mask calls for plain yogurt, honey, and a banana. Mix together a ¼ cup of plain yogurt, a couple tablespoons of honey, and a banana and apply it to your face for about 15 minutes. Rinse it off and enjoy your smooth skin :).

Do you and your friends ever have a relaxed day at home? If you do something along these lines, let me know so I can try it out myself!

Love, Chelsea
