Ahhhh, the joy of saving money… Is there anything better? The best situation is when you can make something from what you already have at home! I found tons of different household item beauty uses so today is your lucky day :).

  • Oil blotting papers are a necessity for some.Chelsea Crockett - DIY Blotting Papers If you don’t want to spend the money or simply run out at home, use coffee filters! They work just as well.
  • To get the most out of your perfume, rub Vaseline wherever you spray your perfume before applying it (like on your neck or your wrists). It’ll make sure the scent doesn’t fade away quickly!
  • Uncoated aspirin pills can work more wonders than just getting rid of pain. They lessen so many skin problems such as redness, acne, scarring, etc. I have an article on a DIY aspirin face mask that you can look up right here on the site!
  • Ever get bronzer or foundation on your collar or shirt by accident? Shaving cream can take it right off! Rub some on with a damp towel and wash it or rinse the area afterwards.
  • Lastly, face masks can be extremely overpriced. You can use raw honey for your own facial! It helps unclog pores and gives a glow to your skin. Put a thin layer on your skin and let it sit for 20-30 minutes. Wash it off with a warm towel and you’re done! It’s as simple as that! (Make sure the honey is raw or organic so you don’t have a bad reaction!).

Have fun :)! - Chelsea
