Summer nights with friends are the best kind of nights. Bonfires, night swims, county fairs, so many things to do! There’s one thing that can put a damper on summer evening fun, and that is pesky mosquitos. They literally suck the fun out of everything! Here are a few remedies to help stop that nasty itching and irritation so you can get back out there and have a blast with your buds.GRW-10903-6

  1. Cold: An ice pack will help stop the itching and reduce swelling in the bite. Put some ice cubes into a plastic bag and hold it against the area for about 10 minutes.

  2. Citrus: Citrus fruits like oranges and limes contain citric acid, which relieves swelling and pain. You can lay thin slices of lemon or orange over the bite and leave it on there for 10 minutes!

  3. Vinegar: This remedy works regardless of which kind of vinegar you use! Soak a cotton ball in vinegar and apply it to the bite.

Don’t let obnoxious bug bites ruin your fun! Try these simple, easy, cheap home remedies next time a pesky mosquito decides to make you his next victim.
